Joel has served on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit in Fairfield County, Connecticut, known as ARI, Inc. The organization serves the needs of individuals with disabilities living in the area. He has also served on the board of the Alzheimer’s Association (Fairfield County and Southern Connecticut chapters). Joel currently sits on the Board of Health of the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut.  Sharon served as a commission member on the Commission for Senior Services, and is also part of a Medical Ethics Committee for a local hospital.
